When I was living in the USA, I fully enjoyed celebrating Halloween and I still do.
I believe traditions are a good thing to maintain as they keep us together and it is never a bad thing to celebrate holidays like Dias de los Muertos or Halloween, which help ritualize our fears of death.
Also, most of the kids I know love to feel a safe moderate level of fear.
Yes, sometimes being scared can be fun !

Quand je vivais aux États-Unis, j’aimais énormément célébrer Halloween; c’est toujours le cas aujourd’hui.
