DIGITAL GOODS

PURCHASE TERMS OF AGREEMENT

The purchase of digital products, including PDF downloads and online material is subject to the following terms and conditions. Consumers are advised to review carefully before making any purchase.

PAYMENT + REFUND POLICY

All transactions for purchase of intangible products, pdf downloads, resource material, and online content are made through payment gateways such as Stripe that use SSL encryption. These payment gateways are safe and secure for using all types of credit cards and debit cards in different countries and your details are not stored during this process.

Since your purchase is a digital product, it is deemed “used” after download or opening, and all purchases made on https://theways2teach.com are non-refundable or exchangeable. Since the products made available here are intangible, there is a strict no-refund policy.

The Ways 2 Teach reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product or service offerings without prior notice.

DELIVERY OF GOODS AND SERVICES

However, it is important to us that you are satisfied. If you encounter an error in any of our educational content, if your file is defective or if you do not receive the link to the digital product after purchase, please contact us immediately with your transaction/payment details so that we can make the necessary changes and deliver the product as soon as possible.

Copyright and Use of Digital Resources

All digital resources provided by The Ways 2 Teach, including but not limited to downloadable materials, lesson plans, and educational content, are protected by copyright law. These resources are intended solely for the individual and non-commercial use of the members of the purchaser's immediate family or students.

Under no circumstances may these digital resources be reproduced, distributed, sold, shared, or made available to the public without prior written consent from The Ways 2 Teach.

They are licensed exclusively for use at home, in the classroom or in an educational setting with the purchaser's students, in accordance with reasonable educational practices.

Educational institutions seeking to incorporate our digital resources into their curriculum on a wider scale, or any other entities wishing to distribute or utilize these resources beyond individual classroom use, must obtain express permission from The Ways 2 Teach.

For inquiries regarding extended usage rights or institutional licenses, please contact us directly.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our digital resources will be considered a breach of our copyright and subject to legal action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

PRIVATE TUTORING AND COACHING

  • For students who are minors, parents must be present for a prior meeting with the tutor to explain how online classes work.
  • Each lesson is billed at 1 hour for an effective duration of 50 minutes, allowing the tutor to change classes; exceeding this duration remains at the tutor's discretion.
  • Lessons must be paid for in advance, either individually or as part of a package for Teen Online Classes.
  • If you are unable to attend a lesson, kindly notify us by e-mail at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Except in cases of unforeseen circumstances, lessons missed after this deadline will be counted as completed.
  • Please be aware that our course schedules are frequently fully booked, and it may not always be possible to reschedule missed lessons at the same time.
  • In the event of an unjustified absence, the missed lesson will be considered completed.
  • If the teacher is absent, you will be promptly informed via email. The fee for the missed lesson will be deducted from the following month's schedule.

About the English and French lessons for teenagers

We welcome students to join our English and French lessons with a minimum commitment of one hour per week to ensure consistency and progress. However, we understand that schedules may need adjustments occasionally. In light of this, we would like to clarify our policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all our students.

  1. While breaks for holidays are customary, we do not accommodate breaks based solely on the whims of individual students. In cases of frequent schedule changes or repeated absences, we reserve the right to discontinue lessons.
  2. Please note that if you choose to discontinue your online lessons indefinitely, the month's payment is non-refundable. We encourage you to complete the lessons for the paid month before its expiration.
  3. Due to limited availability, we may not always be able to reschedule canceled lessons outside of your regular time slot. Additionally, if you decide to return after an indefinite absence, we cannot guarantee that space will be available. Once you leave, your slot may be allotted to another student. Clear communication regarding your decisions is appreciated to facilitate a smooth transition for everyone.

We reserve the right to suspend courses in cases of excessive schedule changes or failure to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined above.

We believe that clear communication and mutual respect are essential for a positive learning environment.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a high-quality learning environment for all our students.

ONLINE COURSES IN DIGITAL FORMAT

By purchasing an online training course in digital format, the user will be able to enjoy this product for life. However, if this product is discontinued or replaced by another, or if the sales model for The Ways 2 Teach products changes or disappears, the customer will only be able to continue to benefit from the product if they ask us to send them a link so that they can download the product (a very similar, downloadable version) onto a computer.

Access to online training content in digital format requires an Internet connection to be used in its entirety, but customers will be able to enjoy documents in PDF format and audio files without being connected to the Internet if they have previously downloaded these PDF or audio files.

The platform may experience temporary errors due, for example, to interruptions in the Internet connection or other malfunctions beyond the control of the Vendor. The Vendor undertakes to make every effort to ensure that the platform operates correctly but is not held responsible or obliged to compensate the user for these temporary malfunctions.
