PURCHASE TERMS OF AGREEMENT

The purchase of digital products, including PDF downloads and online material is subject to the following terms and conditions. Consumers are advised to review carefully before making any purchase.

PAYMENT + REFUND POLICY

All transactions for purchase of intangible products, pdf downloads, resource material, and online content are made through payment gateways such as Stripe that use SSL encryption. These payment gateways are safe and secure for using all types of credit cards and debit cards in different countries and your details are not stored during this process.

Since your purchase is a digital product, it is deemed “used” after download or opening, and all purchases made on https://theways2teach.com are non-refundable or exchangeable. Since the products made available here are intangible, there is a strict no-refund policy.

The Ways 2 Teach reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product or service offerings without prior notice.

DELIVERY OF GOODS AND SERVICES

However, it is important to us that you are satisfied. If you encounter an error in any of our educational content, if your file is defective or if you do not receive the link to the digital product after purchase, please contact us immediately with your transaction/payment details so that we can make the necessary changes and deliver the product as soon as possible.

Copyright and Use of Digital Resources

All digital resources provided by The Ways 2 Teach, including but not limited to downloadable materials, lesson plans, and educational content, are protected by copyright law. These resources are intended solely for the individual and non-commercial use of the members of the purchaser's immediate family or students.

Under no circumstances may these digital resources be reproduced, distributed, sold, shared, or made available to the public without prior written consent from The Ways 2 Teach.

They are licensed exclusively for use at home, in the classroom or in an educational setting with the purchaser's students, in accordance with reasonable educational practices.

Educational institutions seeking to incorporate our digital resources into their curriculum on a wider scale, or any other entities wishing to distribute or utilize these resources beyond individual classroom use, must obtain express permission from The Ways 2 Teach.

For inquiries regarding extended usage rights or institutional licenses, please contact us directly.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our digital resources will be considered a breach of our copyright and subject to legal action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

One-to-one online lessons

1. General rules and regulations

  • In the case of minors, parents must be present at a prior meeting with the tutor to explain how online lessons work.
  • Each lesson lasts 50 minutes, which allows the tutor to change classes; exceeding this time is at the tutor's discretion.
  • Lessons must be paid for in advance, either individually or as part of a package for Online Teen courses.
  • If you are unable to attend your lesson, please inform us by e-mail (theways2teach@gmail.com) at least 24 hours before your lesson time. Unless there are unforeseen circumstances, lessons missed after this time will be counted as completed.
  • Please note that as the timetable is often full, it is not always possible to reschedule a lesson missed outside the usual timetable.
  • If the student's absence has been notified in good time, the lesson will be postponed to the following week and will not be deducted from the card.
  • In the event of unjustified absence, the missed lesson will be considered as having been completed, as the teacher will be present at the lesson time.
  • If the teacher is absent, you will be informed by e-mail as soon as possible. The cancelled lesson will be rescheduled.

2. About Online Teen

  • Online Teen courses are run by Thomas from September to June inclusive.
  • Lessons are paid for in advance by means of a card of 10 or 20 lessons payable before the start of the first lesson.
  • Each lesson completed is counted and once the card has expired, we send you an invoice for the purchase of a new card. At the end of the year, the card is adjusted according to the number of lessons remaining. The price of the remaining lessons do not differ from the price of the lessons on your usual card.

We invite students to sign up for our English and French courses with a minimum commitment of one hour per week to guarantee regularity and progress. However, year-round timetables require occasional adjustments and we wish to clarify our policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all our students:

  • Although breaks for holidays, family and school events or medical reasons are commonplace, we do not accept untimely interruptions for the sole reason of personal motivation. In the event of frequent timetable changes or repeated absences, we reserve the right to interrupt lessons.
  • Please note that if you decide to interrupt your online lessons for more than one month, without valid justification, the lessons remaining on the card are non-refundable. We therefore encourage you to complete the courses on your card before stopping for more than one month.
  • Due to limited availability, we may not always be able to reschedule cancelled lessons outside your usual time slot. In addition, if you decide to return after an unjustified absence of more than one month, we cannot guarantee that a place will be available. Once you have left the course, your place may be allocated to another student. Clear communication about your decisions is appreciated to facilitate a smooth transition for everyone.
  • We reserve the right to suspend classes in the event of excessive timetable changes or failure to comply with the above conditions.

We are here to support you as best we can and open communication and mutual respect are essential to creating a positive learning environment.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a high quality learning environment for all our students.

The platform may experience temporary errors due, for example, to interruptions in the Internet connection or other malfunctions beyond the control of the Vendor. The Vendor undertakes to make every effort to ensure that the platform operates correctly but is not held responsible or obliged to compensate the user for these temporary malfunctions.
